Meet the Team

Allie Penland and McKenna Miller built AM & PM Equine with a shared vision: produce confident, well-started OTTBs, and enjoy the journey along the way. Their work blends skill, care, and a touch of humor that makes even the toughest horses feel like a joy.

About

  • AM & PM Equine made the often stressful experience of horse purchases an absolutely positive experience. From answering every question we had to asking their own to identify the right fit, they couldn’t have been more transparent and supportive of finding the right horse the right home. They were (and continue to be) highly communicative and supportive of the transition. They also took a significant amount of time as we tried the horse, providing coaching and really helping our daughter relax, get to know and understand the specific horse. They knew the horse very well and how to make her and our daughter successful. We purchased a relatively young horse and the work done restarting her was completely solid. They clearly care about the development and progression of their horses. She was already in excellent condition and developing well for her second career off the track. She showed up in better condition than advertised. We couldn’t be happier with our horse and the entire experience.   • I recently purchased a horse sight unseen from Allie & McKenna. They were responsive, forthcoming and honest throughout the communication process. The mare is exactly as they described her to be and she’s absolutely lovely in person and already a barn favorite. They were also very easy and organized throughout the purchase process, even offering to transport the mare to the vet for a PPE at no charge. I was able to schedule last minute transport and they were very accommodating. I would absolutely buy another horse from AM & PM Equine and highly recommend their service. It was as smooth sale-ing from start to finish. I’m so thankful to have found this incredible new partner!
